"True science begins when men begin to order chaos by observing and classifying facts." — Isaac Asimov

I bridge the world of mathematics with history and human stories. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD studies and teaching at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University. I am equally fascinated by the moments where science meets art – whether on the pages of historical prints, within the grooves of vinyl records, or when discovering statues of famous mathematicians during my travels.

💡 My Teaching Mission: I strive not only to teach students, but also to motivate them to actively engage in student life and societies, and not to be afraid of mentoring their younger peers.

Dissertation & Research

General Issues of Mathematics and Computer Science

What connected Rome and Brno in the 1930s? Mathematics, French language, and scientific passion.

As part of my dissertation, I open a chapter from the history of mathematics that continues to fascinate to this day. I examine the personal and scientific correspondence between Vito Volterra and Bohuslav Hostinský. In letters written in elegant French, these two men laid the foundations of functional analysis, page by page.

Their collaboration culminated in the celebrated joint work Opérations infinitésimales linéaires, in which they shaped the concept of the product integral.

🎨 Fine Arts

In visual arts, I am mostly drawn to the dramatic chiaroscuro storytelling of Artemisia Gentileschi, the vibrant emotion of Vincent van Gogh, and the dreamlike, intricate worlds of Hieronymus Bosch.
